Love this place! The Mac and cheese is the best dish I have had here! If your in a hurry this is not a place for you. The service can be slow, but we don't mind it because the food is so good! I have also had the sirloin and veggies!!

A great date night location. We have not tried to outside seating or the bar seating but I'm sure it's just as good!

The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because I don't want to deter people from having dinner there because possibly their dinner service is better.
This was the second time I've been to the bar area for appetizers and drinks. We had a good experience the time before so I suggested it again.
To start, we got there a few minutes after 8pm and the first thing they said was that they close at 9, so be fast. Um, okay. First of all, there are limited places in Ripon, so the fact that they close at 9 is ridiculous. Okay, maybe the dinner bell gets rung at 8 and they leave the bar open until 10 or later? Whatever.
We ordered wine and a mixed drink and food. They were all okay. Not spectacular, but okay. The real problem was that the entire time we felt like we were getting the bum's rush out of there. They kept commenting to each other about how they had stuff to do after. Yes, we heard you, no you don't have to keep reminding us. The same bartender was there from the last time. Younger short guy with glasses. He was cool the time before, this time he was frantic. To the point where the people next to us said they'd been going there for years and were bothered too. We brought it to the female bartender's attention and she said he's from New York and no one ever complains about him sooo... it was a basically "Shut up about him" conversation with her. Totally rude.
We ate as fast as we could listening to them talking about getting out of there and complaining about a coworker while a waiter was counting his tips at a table behind us and talking to them over our heads.
We were out before the 9 o'clock curfew they gave us, and both us and the longterm customers next to us were shutdown and treated poorly and we all said we'd never go back.
In the end, I don't get it. Yes, politely remind your customers about your awfully early closing time. But is that the first thing you say to people and then practically ride them the whole time? I'm not sure what was going on. Seemed very weird and the bartender acted wired. It wasn't cool, and considering the bill for that nonsense it's not right. Never will we go there again!

Nice oasis out in the middle of BF Ripon... Great interior, and super friendly, helpful service. We came in for a lunch, and were quite surprised. Food was excellent, and a lot of it for the price. So, if you are in the area looking for a good place to drop in for a good meal, head here.

The food was delicious. The wait time was only reason I gave it 4 stars.  35 minutes for a sandwich and salad. Although the Monte Cristo was worth the wait.  The salad with way tooo much dressing when I asked for none. Details matter. And after the wait I didn't want to wait
    For it to be remade.

This place is so good! I always order the Mac and cheese!  If you have appetizers definitely the Brie! Vincent in the bar is the best! His jalapeño margaritas and Moscow mules are delicious! Super friendly, personality, service each time we go.  I love that I always see familiar faces when I go and I'm not from ripon!
